Upon arrival in Banglore, meet and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Bull Temple, Tippu’s Palace, walk through Lalbagh Gardens, view Vidhana Soudha and view Bangalore Palace. Stroll through the MG road.

Drive to Hassan. En-route visit Sravanabelagola, a Jain pilgrim center. In Hassan, visit Hoysala temples of Belur and Halebid, known for its most beautiful sculptures. Overnight in Hassan.
Short drive to Madikkeri, the cool capital of Kodagu (Coorg) region. En-route, visit Dubare Elephant camp, Abbey falls and Omakeshwara temple. Overnight in Madikeri
Travel for about 4hrs to Mysore, the city of palatial buildings and tree-lined boulevards. Visit Palace of Mysore, Jayachanarajendra Art Gallery in Jaganmohan Palace. In the evening, visit 5m high Nandi bull temple, along our way to Chamundi Hill. Next day we set out for day excursion to Somnathpur, to see the Kesava Temple and a visit to Srirangapattinam, an Island fortress town on the bank of Cauvery river. Later visit Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Evening is free in Mysoore to pursue your own interests. Two nights in Mysore
In the morning visit the century-old Devaraja market and in the afternoon board a Shatabdi train to Chennai (Madras).

Visit some of Chennai's monuments and drive to Kanchepuram. Visit Varadaraja, Ekambareshwar, Kailasanathar temples and a silk weaving place . Lunch at a typical South Indian restaurant. Continue drive to the laid back beach town of Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram), where we spend two nights. Next day we start leisurely for sightseeing tour to visit Mamallapuram’s monolithic shrine, rock-cut cave temples & shore temples.

Early today, we drive to Tanjore, a rural town, visiting temples of Gangaikonda Cholapuram and Darasuram temples near Kumbakonam. In Tanjore, visit the world heritage Brihadeshwara temple and the Palace Museum. Overnight in Hotel Parisutham.
Drive to Karaikudi, the capital city of Chettinad, land of a prosperous banking and business community (chettiyars). It is also known for its culinary delicacies.

Drive for about 2hrs to reach Madurai and visit famous Meenakshi temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace and a stroll in the market area.

From Madurai drive through tranquil countryside and rich plantations to Thekkady or Periyar, home of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary/Tiger reserve. In the evening, we take a boat trip on the lake inside the park to see the wild animals. Next day morning, take a guided plantation tour of the spice gardens, visit spice market, tea factory in the nearby town and afternoon is free to rest.
Overnight in Thekkady.
From Periyar, an enjoyable drive traversing mountain roads brings us to Cochin (Kochi). Next day, tour this vibrant city visiting the Jewish Synagogue in the Jew town, the Dutch Palace, Spice market, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and also see the Chinese fishing nets. In the evening, attend the performance of traditional Kathakali dance. Visit a Christian family for a cooking demo, followed by dinner
Overnight Cochin.
After leisurely morning, drive for about 2 hours from Cochin to Alleppey and board an air-conditioned houseboat that is your accommodation as well as transport for a relaxing cruise through the tranquil backwaters of Kerala for two nights.

Disembark from Houseboat in the morning and drive to Kovalam, one of the most popular beaches in Kerala, where you have three nights of stay at leisure or pursue your own interests. Overnight in the Travancore Heritage.
