Itinerary in Details

Day 1: Arrival in Cochin (D)

Upon arrival at Cochin, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Visit Jewish Synagogue in the Jew Town, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and the Dutch Palace. Also see the famous Chinese fishing nets. In the evening attend the Kathakaki performance. Overnight in Le Meridien Cochin.

 

Day 2: Cochin to Alleppey & Cruise on the Backwaters (B/L/D)

Transfer to Alleppey and board the private air-conditioned houseboat and cruise through the tranquil Backwaters of Kerala. Overnight and dinner on board served by on-board chef and sail to Kumarakom.

 

Day 3: Kumarakom (B)

Disembark at Kumarakom around 9am and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for own activities. Overnight in Kumarakom Lake Resort.

 

Day 4: Kumarakom (B/L)

Free morning at leisure. Just before noon, transfer by motor boat to Phikipkutty Farm House, to visit Syrian Christian Family. Here you can experience cooking demo of Keralan cuisine, lunch and visit the farm. In the evening, you can participate in Sun-set cruise organized by the hotel. Overnight in Kumarakom Lake Resort.

 

Day 5: Departure Transfer (B)

Check out from hotel and transfer to the Cochin airport or railway station, in time for your departure.
